CLTRe’s latest executive reporting feature is fast becoming the most recommended product feature by CISOs using CLTRe’s security culture measurement platform, the CLTRe Toolkit. The Security Culture Overview Slides are used to a provide high-level report on security culture to top-level executives and board members,
“The beauty of the overview slideshow from CLTRe is that it nails our need to provide status updates to the board.”
Espen Otterstad, CISO at Abax AS
The new report has the ability to share a high-level overview of the current state of security culture and how it is changing (if earlier data is available) as a slideshow. This is one of the latest product features designed to help the CISO communicate the value of their security culture program and report its progress to top-level executives and board members.
This slideshow is automatically produced using the data collected by your CLTRe. It is one of the data visualization tools built-in to CLTRe Insights, available to all CLTRe Toolkit customers.
Building and maintaining security culture requires commitment to an ongoing program. It takes time to build culture and it needs to be maintained, which is why it is important that companies take a long-term view to allocating budget and resources to their security culture program. The built-in slideshow helps me to prove the value of our security culture investments and demonstrate security culture change.
“One way to ensure that your program stays top of mind and on the agenda, is to have a simple, clear way to communicate your progress and provide status updates,” advises CLTRe’s COO and security culture expert, Aimee Laycock. “Like any initiative, getting executive buy-in to fund a new project is not the same as inspiring sustained cultural change. Taking a top-down approach to culture change can be very effective, but just like your front-line employees, executives need to kept engaged for your security awareness activities (and their support) to have a lasting effect.” The Security Culture Overview Slides make it much easier for CISOs to prove the value of their security culture management program to their board.
CLTRe Insights (available as part of every CLTRe Toolkit) provides more than just metrics. It automatically aggregates all the individual scores (from each employee in the organization) and produces easy to use and easy to present security culture reports using the built-in data visualization tools. The slideshow is automatically produced for each customer, and can be found inside the Overview tab of their own reporting tool, CLTRe Insights.
Here is what one of our customers has to say:
“The reports from CLTRe make it much easier for us to communicate the importance of security culture internally. The beauty of the overview slideshow from CLTRe is that it nails our need to provide status updates to the board. I can share a high-level overview of the current state of security culture and how it is changing, without overwhelming the directors with the minutiae of our program.”
